On August 29, 2026, Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park – Subdivision B will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for three new projects with a total investment of more than VND 1.4 trillion, including Phase II technical infrastructure, factories for lease, and a wastewater treatment plant. The event is part of a series of groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies for projects in the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone to mark the 81st anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2026).

In accordance with Official Dispatch No. 413/KH-UBND dated August 13, 2026, issued by the Da Nang City People’s Committee on the plan to organize groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies for projects in the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone to mark the 81st anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company will hold the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of factories for lease, a wastewater treatment plant, and Phase 2 technical infrastructure under the Investment Project on Construction and Trading of Infrastructure for Subdivision B - Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park.

1.1. Organization Details

• Time: From 08:00 to 10:00, Saturday, August 29, 2026.
• Venue: Subdivision B – Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park, Thang Truong Commune, Da Nang City.
• Supervising authority: Management Board of Chu Lai Open Economic Zone.
• Organizer: Project owner – Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company.

1.2. Investment Scale and Significance of the Event

The projects to be launched have a total investment of VND 1.411 trillion, including:

• Factories for lease: Approximately 18 hectares, with an investment of VND 670 billion, providing production space for new investors or businesses expanding their operations.
• Wastewater treatment plant: Capacity of 4,200 m³ per day, with an investment of VND 160 billion, contributing to the completion of environmental infrastructure.
• Phase 2 technical infrastructure: Approximately 29.5 hectares, with an investment of VND 581 billion, expanding infrastructure and capacity to receive new projects.

The simultaneous development of the three projects connects production space, operating infrastructure, and the environmental treatment system. This provides an important foundation for businesses to shorten preparation time, begin factory operations sooner, and maintain stable production over the long term.

The event not only recognizes the results achieved during the development of Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park – Subdivision B but also reflects coordination among government authorities, the project owner, contractors, and related organizations in mobilizing resources and accelerating infrastructure completion. 4. About Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park

Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park – Subdivision B covers 346 hectares and is positioned as a new-generation industrial park for sustainable manufacturing. Nam Thang Binh is developed under the Industrial Platform model, connecting production space with technical infrastructure, energy, data, and environmental systems to help businesses optimize operations and meet new market standards.

As of June 2026, basic road, water supply, drainage, and lighting infrastructure had been completed. The construction of factories for lease, a wastewater treatment plant, and Phase 2 technical infrastructure will expand the industrial park’s capacity to receive businesses. According to the expected schedule, the first factory will begin operations between late 2026 and early 2027.
