Quang Nam – March 16, 2024 – The People's Committee of Quang Nam Province has officially granted BIN Corporation a research and project proposal agreement for the Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park. Spanning 325 hectares, the industrial park is expected to receive a total investment of approximately $277 million (nearly VND 7,000 billion). The industrial park is oriented toward an ecological, high-tech, and high value-added development model.

The approval marks a major milestone in Quang Nam’s efforts to expand green industrial infrastructure in its eastern region. It also affirms BIN Corporation’s long-term commitment to supporting the province in building a smart, sustainable, and innovation-driven economy.

Nam Thang Binh: Green Industrial Engine in Eastern Quang Nam

Located within the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone, Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park spans 325 hectares and carries an expected investment of approximately $277 million. It boasts a strategic location adjacent to key transport corridors, seaports, airports, and major logistics hubs. Recognized as a “golden land” in the province’s industrial development plan, the site meets all criteria to form a modern and sustainable industrial park.

As stated in the recently declared Quang Nam Provincial Planning (2021-2030), with vision to 2050, the province is decentralized into two spatial regions: western region, and eastern region. The active eastern area, where Nam Thang Binh is located, still acts as the driver of development, in which the main activities of the economy, which are focused on, are the industry, trade, services, maritime economy and tourism. The creation of the Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park is also associated with the policy of the region to transform the structure of the economy in the direction of the industrialization, modernization, and green development.

The operating time of 50 years is anticipated to turn Nam Thang Binh Industrial Park into a choice destination place of high-quality industrial investors, especially those who target developing technologies as well as innovating and environmentally friendly production process.

Nam Thang Binh is master-planned with a strong ecological and low-emission focus, in alignment with both domestic policies and global sustainability trends. Importantly, the park will not permit industries with high pollution risks, ensuring green standards in both operations and production. The technical infrastructure will be comprehensively developed, including a centralized wastewater treatment system, renewable energy sources (rooftop solar, energy storage), smart internal transport, and fully digital management systems.
